Here are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions about Mediation:

QUESTION: WHAT IS A MEDIATOR?

ANSWER:

A mediator is a trained individual to help you and another party deal with current issues and helps you work towards a resolution.

QUESTION: WHY IS USING A MEDIATOR PREFERABLE TO GOING THROUGH LAWYERS OR THE COURTS?

ANSWER:

When judges deal with issues, there is a clear winner and a clear loser on the issues. When you go through a mediator, parties usually are able to find a happy medium between the issues and all parties come out happier. Mediation requires compromise!
