Natalie received her law degree from Dalhousie University in 2007, and throughout law school earned numerous awards including the Law Foundation of Nova Scotia Scholarship, the Henry B. Rude Memorial Prize, the Rosenblum-Dubinsky Prize in Family Law, the Alistair Fraser Scholarship, and also clerked at the Nova Scotia Supreme Court (Family).
After obtaining her LL.B., Natalie worked with a top-tier law firm in Calgary in the area of Corporate Securities, but realized she wanted to work directly with clients on a personal level, and therefore started Stonetree Law in 2009. She prides herself on being able to assist clients with most areas of law, including Family, Wills & Estates, Corporate, Adoptions, Adult Guardianship, Employment and Real Estate.

After years of successful entrepreneurship in Calgary, Tate moved to Halifax in 2004 and attended Dalhousie Law School. Tate decided to become a lawyer after encountering a series of frustrating and easily avoidable legal pitfalls. Tate felt that he could provide a better option for Calgarians.
Tate went on to work in varied legal environments from Legal Aid and national firms to local offices and private consulting before starting what would later become StoneTree Law. The vision was to curate a midsize firm in a permanent and convenient location, filled with a deep pool of diverse legal talent focused on service. A symbol of legal excellence in the Calgary community that would assist and guide people through the best and worst of all phases of life and business. By virtue of shedding a name, Reeder & Associates became StoneTree Law so that the passage of time, life and death would not change the fact that StoneTree Law would remain a trusted Calgary Law Firm Calgarians can can rely on.
Tate has since retired from active legal practice to focus on a handful of treasured clients and to manage and steward the long term operations and growth of the StoneTree family of businesses.

Germaine obtained her JD from Thompson Rivers University. Prior to attending law school Germaine worked at the Japanese Consulate, the Calgary Crown Prosecutor's office, and at several top tier oil and gas companies. In practicing both Family Law and Employment Law, Germaine understands the emotional and financial stress that can accompany a legal problem and is focused on achieving cost-effective results for her clients in a timely manner. Germaine places emphasis on involving her clients in the legal process, by providing legal advice that allows her clients to make informed decisions. Germaine takes a collaborative approach to the practice of law and where possible, advocates for a negotiation/resolution process before moving to litigation.
Germaine holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Calgary and is conversational in French and Spanish.

Raveena received her BSc in Psychology (First Class Honours) from the University of Calgary in 2013 and her law degree from Dalhousie University in 2016. During law school, Raveena had an active role in the law school community by being a member of the Law Students’ Society, the Moot Committee, the Budget Committee, and was a volunteer for Pro Bono Students Canada. After completing law school, Raveena articled with a criminal defense firm in Calgary and was called to the Bar in 2018. As an articling student, Raveena regularly appeared in court to advocate for her clients and assisted on files in all levels of court in Alberta.
Raveena practices in the areas of Family Law, Employment Law, Criminal Law, Wills and Estates and Real Estate, and is dedicated to providing excellent legal representation for her clients inside and outside of the courtroom. Raveena is able to assist clients in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.

Ruchelle completed her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Master’s
degree in Special Education in the Philippines. She obtained her law degree from the
University of Leeds in West Yorkshire, England. Prior to attending law school, she
worked as an Early Childhood Educator in Calgary for many years.
Ruchelle joined Stonetree Law after articling in a boutique family law firm. She
specializes in all areas of family law. As a strong and compassionate advocate, she
always strives to obtain practical solutions for all her clients.
When not in the office, she enjoys exploring countries with family and friends.
Ruchelle also provides legal services in Tagalog.

Kathleen graduated from law school with Honours and holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Criminology and Global Studies. While attending law school, Kathleen participated in mooting competitions, wrote her dissertation on Canada’s sexual consent laws, and was actively involved with legal organizations across the globe.
In 2021, Kathleen was admitted as a lawyer in Australia where she worked internationally on several criminal law cases. Kathleen since began articling in Calgary and now practices in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law and Employment Law, where she utilizes her diverse international experience to resolve cases creatively and efficiently.

Chitwan obtained her Juris Doctorate from Bond University, located in Gold Coast, Australia. Prior to attending law school, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary and obtained a double degree in Law and Society and Political Science.
Chitwan has been an active volunteer throughout her life and has volunteered at the Alberta Children's Hospital, the Calgary North Probation Office, the Brenda Strafford Society, and most recently will be volunteering with the Calgary Youth Justice Society as a lead coach.
Chitwan was called to the Alberta Bar in 2018 and joined the firm in 2022.
Chitwan practices in the areas of Real Estate, Wills and Estates, Civil Litigation, and Employment Law. She can help assist clients in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.
